It's baseball season which means that we spend 3+ hours every Saturday at the ball park watching Jake and Nathan play. Jake is on the Dodgers again this year and plays on a team for kids with special needs. Every week a little league team is assigned to come and be big buddies for the kids. Jake always loves his buddies and they are good sports even when he bumps into them or gives them really hard high fives!
Whenever a ball is hit at least 3 kids on Jake's team all go running to see who can get to it first.

As soon as Jon found out that he was coaching the Giants, he went to the sports fan store at the mall (you know it's important to him if he'll actually go to the mall to get it) and bought himself a Giants hat and shirt!
After a few encouraging words from his coach, Nathan was ready for his snack and excited about the rest of the season!
Jon and I took Nathan to an Angel's game a few weeks ago. We asked Jake if he wanted to go, but he opted not to so we left him and Max home with a babysitter. We were planning on buying tickets when we got to the game, but as we walked up to the ticket booth a nice older couple offered us three tickets in their box office suite for free! We've never sat in a suite before so we were pretty excited!
On our way in we stopped by some of the game booths they have set up for the kids to play.
Nathan spent a lot of the game inside the suite since it was pretty cold outside.
Throughout the night Nathan ate a hot dog, peanuts, hot chocolate and a whole package of red vines! He's still a little young to sit and watch the game so it was nice that he could play in the suite and that he had plenty of food to eat!
With three boys I guess I need to get used to spending a lot of time at the ball park!

Those are great pictures! I couldn't read what you wrote because I'm at my school and the computers are really old, but it looks like Jake is loving baseball and I LOVE that Nathan and Trent are on the same team this year! He is having so much fun and Jon is doing a great job coaching the team.
We personally LOVE baseball and love that you get to watch so much of it! The boys are so cute! And that is so fun that Jon is coaching Nathan's team. Nice job Jake on getting that ground ball! How fun! We sure do enjoy reading your posts!
We are the same way with soccer right now. Kaydree is # 10, too. I thought how weird would it be if Karsyn was #5 but she is number 6. Still kind of funny!
Cute pictures! Your boys both look like great players. I'm sure you will have a great time in the years you will spend at ball parks! We only had one brother and I still think at last half of my memories of Delta are at the ballpark...
