I want to go CAMPING!

Jake will get obsessed with something and then doesn't let it go until we do it. A few weeks ago he decided that he wanted to go camping and he literally repeated at least a 100 times a day, "I want to go camping!"

So we decided to have a camp out in our backyard. We all sat around the little barbecue and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows.

And made S'mores!

The boys were really excited to sleep in the tent and I was really excited to sleep in my own bed (someone had to stay in the house with Max)!

A few weeks later it was

Father and Sons!

This is one of the few perks of having all boys! Jon took all three of them this year and I enjoyed a night out with some friends! The campsite this year was right next to a lake which provided a lot more work for Jon since our boys are obsessed with water. Max was the first kid there to fall in!

The boys were disgusting and dirty and loved every minute of it!

Jake slept pretty well, Nathan slept so well that he didn't wake up until everything was all cleaned up and Max didn't sleep at all! It might have been a little too soon for him to go, but he was excited and Jon wanted to take him so there you go. Hopefully next year he'll sleep a little better!

Jake and Max were up at 5:00 in the morning throwing the football into the lake!

Our next camping trip is planned for the end of this month at Cedar Breaks with Jon's family and Jake is so excited! Now that we've taking him camping his new obsession is, "I want to go to Chuck E. Cheeses!" Looks like we'll be making a trip there soon!

I don't know why, but this post really cracked me up! Maybe it was Jon sitting on that tiny fold up chair, or Jake's total happiness at going camping in your backyard, or Nathan sleeping until everything was put away... Anyway, it looked like a whole lot of fun! Can't wait to see you!
