It was so fun having Jon home for a few days over the break and be able to spend time together as a family. Here is what we spent our time doing...
Jake tried out his new baseball and glove by playing catch with Dad. He did pretty well, but definitely needs some more practice!
Jon got his workout for the month giving the boys wagon rides around the backyard. Their favorite part was when he would take them on the grass and they would tip over and fall out- crazy boys!
The wagon was definitely a good idea- way to go Santa!
Max wanted in on the wagon action! Nathan had fun pulling him around the yard.
We always try to do something fun the day after Christmas to prevent the usual after Christmas letdown so this year we took the boys bowling. Nathan stood next to the ball return the entire time and made sure all of the balls were where they should be.
Please excuse the bootie shot of me, but Jon was taking pictures this time so unfortunately I'm in all of them. Every time Nathan would bowl he would do this little dance until the ball hit the pins. It was pretty funny!
Jake had fun, but it wasn't until Jon helped him bowl a strike that he got really excited- competitive little kid (wonder who he gets that from?).
Max just chilled in his stroller as usual!
The next day we took the kids to go see the movie Bolt. It was so cute- we loved it and the boys actually sat through the whole thing!
Jon and I also went and saw Seven Pounds and Valkyre both of which we really liked.
My good friend sent the boys these jackets when Max was born and they finally fit them all. I love them- they looked so cute! Thank you, Catherine!
Here's what they actually look like. They also came with little hoods that button into them so they can wear them with jeans for a more casual look!
Jon's mom sent the boys their Christmas gifts a few days after Christmas and they were so excited- it was like Christmas all over again! Jake got a book, some stickers and these stuffed animals.
Nathan got a book and this play-doh letter set- a perfect gift for him!
I still have pictures of New Years and our 4th annual Warnick Idol so stay tuned...
